Lois Moran (born November 1, 1909 – died July 13, 1990) was an American film and stage actress. She began her career in entertainment at the age of nine as a child model and soon made her way into films. She appeared in over 40 films in the course of her career, including "The Bridge of San Luis Rey" (1929), "Show Boat" (1929), and "The Big Pond" (1930). Moran was known for her delicate beauty and elegance, and she was often cast in romantic roles. In addition to film acting, Moran also had a successful career on Broadway and in radio. Later in life, she retired from show business and focused on raising her family. She passed away on July 13, 1990, at the age of 80.
